A lot of this has to do with the policing of on field shenanigans. Take care of the actual games (i.e. uniform policing, crackdown on TD celebrations) and the rest of the stuff is just seen as "personality." Not saying its right, but it is definitely a PR strategy, and it is definitely working, therefore a good PR strategy.

I'm with Mark Cuban. You can put a stop to brawls like this one (and the Miami-FIU crap), but you're gonna have to levy some heavy punishment on all of those responsible, including coaches & management.

Same with TO. He "accidentally" spits in someone's face, and the league won't do anything, but damn if Parcells with either. So Parcells has no complaint. You can either look the other way, or you can deal with it head on.
