ooooh which one? I can't help but feel like the Tobe Hooper ones might suck. His last few movies have been awful.

that's actually the one i just watched (dance of the dead). it was kind of boring, except for a few parts. i've got joe dante's homecoming too which i might just throw on now.

the only ones i've loved so far from this have been imprint (miike) and cigarette burns (carpenter).

tomorrow - volunteer at the abortion clinic! it's the roe-v-wade anniversary weekend, so the kooks will be out. Also, wait around for contractor to fix the shit they screwed up tuesday. Sex up the SO? Minor cooking/cleaning.

Naw, that's over. For like a year. Met a cute art historian who lives ten blocks from me. I think I was moping about the breakup while you were dealing with your own stuff. And then I was teaching five days a week, like a real job, for the last four months.

Awww gee, I'm sorry! And additionally sorry for not paying attention during your time of need. But, am definitely glad that you've found someone new! Art Historian, eh? Sounds like the perfect 'geeky' babe (I totally dig geeks!).

Gosh, I just realized how long it's been since we last chatted. Though, I was thinking of you the other day -- I was using the lotion you sent me.

I should make a trip to the east coast. I've never been to Georgia.

Where are you teaching now?

Hey, were you at the AEA meetings earlier this month? They were right near me!

Aural, my spare room is your spare room, though it's a long way to GA - took the train at xmas, never again. Don't worry about missing the moping, I had booze, which was fine.

I was indeed at the AEAs - you didn't come to my talk?!?!? Right across from the Hard Rock hotel, which is actually nice digs in a pinch.

I only went to hang out with my old (and potentially future) colleagues (Analysis Group) at their cocktail reception on Saturday night at the Hyatt on Wacker.

Yeah, I had to go to the Hopkins cocktail party and the CSWEP thing Saturday (I hope you found time to get a free 'Econ Diva' t-shirt).

Who are your colleagues now?

Wait, where are you? I could've sworn you were in GA. No...wait, is it Virginia? West Virginia? Somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic?

The AEA meetings, while in Chicago this year, are attended by economists from all over the country (world?).

Baltimore is home. Most of the family is in GA, hence the confusion.

Where are you teaching. I only saw two Shelly's on the program online just now, one from University of Washington and one with a Chinese last name from Kent State. Neither seemed like you.
