I think the root of your problem lies in the fact that you believe people have a personal gripe with you. You labor under much too great a sense of self-importance.

As for me, I react to and ciriticize anyone who jumps up and down shouting, "Hey everyone, come and read about what a shitty record collection I have!" It may seem like a personal attack to you, but you must remember that you are the only one on the board who is doing this.

Incidentally, I sent my sisters yet-to-be-born child a copy of Jim Carroll's "Catholic Boy", so that from the day he's born he'll have a better record collection than you.

Maybe you're just low hanging fruit.
