Actually, the hot rumor here is that Jerry is dead-set on trading up to get either Adrian Peterson, or if he can't quite trade up that high, Marshawn Lynch. Not sure how much of an upgrade Lynch would be over the current Julius Jones/Marion Barber platoon. They need DBs, OLs and WRs much, much more than RBs.

Here is what the Fox Sports Mock Draft has for the Cowboys

22. Cowboys Dwayne Jarrett WR USC Junior 22nd SAME 10th / 22nd
The USC career record holder for touchdowns and receptions laid eggs both at the combine and at USC's Pro Day. During the latter, Trojan linebacker Dallas Sartz ran a faster 40, as Jarrett clocked in with embarrassing 4.67 and 4.62 40 scores and was less than impressive quickness drills. I'm not quitting on the Jersey boy yet, though. After filling their holes at safety and offensive line (Ken Hamlin and Leonard Davis), the Cowboys have no real "pressing" immediate needs. If there's any position they'll look to upgrade it, it's at receiver, where Terrell Owens is 33 and Terry Glenn is 34. Dallas has the luxury to take a bit of a risk in this spot. Just a bit weird to consider a guy who scored 41 touchdowns caught 216 balls in three years at college — a "risk."

I would take Bowe or the Meachum kid from Tennessee over Dwayne Jarrett; besides his plodding speed, there is something about him that I don't like, not sure what, but its something.

And damn, I like what the Cowboys have right now at RB and WR--they definitely need some help along the lines and either another quality corner or a safety who can play in coverage (that's off the top of my head, not sure if they've addressed this in free agency).

They signed Hamlin as a FA from Seattle to play FS alongside Roy "All Hit, No Cover" Williams, so they have addressed that need. They could still use a speedy shut-down CB, though. The WRs they have now are good, but getting oooooooooold.

Hamlin is "all hit, no cover" too. Have fun with that.

He's a lot more cover than Roy. ANYBODY is more cover than Roy. STEPHEN HAWKING is more cover than Roy.

This pretty neat for those of you looking to kill time between picks:

NFL.com has a draft history page where you can look at every draft since 1982 or break it down by team or position.

Horrifying actually.

I'm happy with Landry, Okoye would've been nice though--although he's not enough of an attitude problem for Snyder to hire him.

And Bathhouse Brady's facial expressions and body language on the Ginn pick were priceless.

I'm now incredibly disappointed that I can't watch Brady Quinn grow more and more nervous with each pick as he realizes he loses a half million dollars or more with each one.

You Falcons fans think Jamaal Anderson will bring back the Dirty Bird when he gets a sack?

My boy from Nebraska got picked before Brady Quinn. I sort of wish he went some place besides the Rams, but that was a strong possibility for a long time.

I wouldn't mind going to one, but I doubt it would be remotely entertaining after a few picks. I like the fact that for the majority of recent NFL drafts, I can sit and watch it while consuming a bunch of cheap beer in the privacy of my own home.

That's completely different, it is only two rounds and the majority of players drafted have at least some impact on the team they are drafted by. The first two rounds of the NFL draft take one day compared to the three hours of the complete NBA draft. Plus, the Basketball draft picks tend to dress a little more gawdy than the NFL players.

I must say the Browns got lucky and have done well picking both Joe Thomas and Brady Quinn this round.

Oh hell yeah. I hope Oden/Durant wear emerald green suits. Both.

I have to drink beer until the Eagles draft makes sense to me. I may never wake up.
