What I meant is that when they named themselves 10 years ago they were quite a different band with almost entirely different band members and a much more straight-ahead "britpop" sound...i.e. the name suited them then but doesn't quite do their music justice anymore, IMO.

The internet and the international-ness of music is just plain weird.
Essentially you guys, all the way in California, are going to see my friends' band play. While meanwhile I haven't seen them since I moved away from Montreal in August... and I still haven't met any of you. Soooo weird.

If you get a chance to talk to them tell 'em that Alex from Marlowe says hi. heh heh. I'm sure it would weird them out.
