When I lived in CA I used to drink Export Gold, a side lager of the Steinlager folks. $2.50 a sixer at trader joe's.

I don't know which of these we had that afternoon, but it was mighty fine.

To the surprise of no one, my beer of choice is Labatt's 50, with High Life and Old Mick's Red coming in second and third. After that I'll honestly drink anything, usually whatever's cheap and cold.

Used to work there. That was my undergrad internship, back in 98. I can have about 1 a year now, and then I remember smelling it cook all day and don't want another one for 12 more months. They gave me 6 free cases when I got there, 20 half liter bottles to a case.

There's a place down the street from work, Frankie & Johnnie's, that serves Fat Tire ($2 beer on Tuesdays!!). Damn...I should've gone yesterday!

Sweetwater 420... miss that shit and can't get it here. Same thing with New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red.

Right now in the fridge:
Full Sail Session Lager
some cheap pilsener from Trader Joe's (which is actually fairly tasty)

also like:

Widmer Drop Top Amber
Widmer Broken Halo IPA
Fuller's ESB
Liefman's Framboise and Kriek beer

on really super hot days, you will find me drinking PBRs. And as a nice beer alternative, I love me some Strongbow Cider. I think Strongbow has overtaken Dry Blackthorn as my favorite cider.

Y'all need to come out and go to Moon and Sixpence with me.... KILLER beer selection and amazing outdoor patio. And curry fries!

Lion Stout

I'm forgetting things, but I don't have the money to buy good beer anyway.

In the PBR vs High Life vs Bud Lite battle, lately I'm leaning towards PBR again.

Seems pretty ridiculous to me that we can't get Yeungling. I mean, they have it in SC and Alabama.

I'm all for trying new things but I just don't really get the beer uber-geek.

I mean, do we really need the Caramel Milk Stout w/ Asparagus or the Booberry Mushroom IPA??

If you weren't already dead to me, you'd be dead to me, now.

Budweiser? I don't care if it's the prog-folk, jazzbo thing to do... Don't.

Had my first one of these recently.. great stuff.

I'm a sucker for wheat beers, though I find some to be too lemony/fruity (ala Hoegarten). Sam Adams and Harpoon make great summer/wheat beers.

And I'm not a fan of the hops love-fest that so many American breweries seem to be caught up in. There is such a thing as too much hops!

I'll drink damn near anything. But, if I'm willing to spend some bucks and locate a bottle, I'll pick up some Saison DuPont, a Belgian farmhouse ale.
