My tentative plans for the weekend:

Thursday: Getting some drinks for a friend's birthday

Friday: Going to First Ave for a benefit concert (I haven't heard any of the bands, but some friends are going so it sounds like fun)

Saturday or Sunday: Drive to Madison to visit some friends. We're planning on going to a Milwaukee Brewers game on Sunday or Monday. Tailgating, beer, and baseball are always a good time.

Nobody else had to post in the thread if they didnt want to.

Weekend threads are usually posted on Fridays and sometimes Thursdays. Those days are considered the end of the week. The weekend is Saturday and Sunday.

Yes, You could start a SUPER EARLY WEEKEND THREAD on Monday if you so chose.

My weekend plans start on Thursday, so the thread is justified.

Thank you, It's nice to be able to watch Brewers games and not be constantly disappointed by them. Prince Fielder is great and he seems like a genuinely good guy. I went to my first game at Miller Park last month and got to see Prince hit a home run. Sadly they lost to the Cubs so it was a rough walk back to parking lot because of all the excited Cubs fans who came up from Chicago.

certainly 90% of the threads on here are more annoying then a consistent weekly one started a few days early, no?

Man, f those Cubs fans. Prince is a monster. I'm going to see them in August, so I'm pretty excited about that.

Well, I can't argue that but since most people end their week on Friday you are really the only one who benefits from posting this. You get to let people know what you're doing and the rest of us get to be annoyed that we have 2 more fucking days of work and watch this thread fall off the first page after today.

This is one of the few semi-interesting threads of the week in a voyeuristic sense and I wouldn't find it so annoying if you didn't at least once a month start it on a Thursday. Now a Wednesday. There is where you are getting the "well let's just start a 2009 thread" while we're at it jokes.

Hey, if it's any concellation, I will be working, dealing with the same drunk 40 year old broads who i mocked earlier for four days in plenty of heat, while only truly looking forward to maybe 5 of the bands I listed above...
