I have never seen Sunny in Philly, but Funkhouser is a good choice, IMO. I would have chosen Leon from this season. I mean come on, "Ejaclit"?!

I would choose, also, Doakes from Dexter. That dude cracks me up.

I'd also say that I wouldn't suggest defining your self-worth from the uppity opinions of some of the folks who posted in here. They seem to live in a world dictated by massive amounts of trivial knowledge, which only serves to further perpetuate their arrogant assumption that their subjective tastes are better than everyone elses.

Also, top five funniest whatever lists are begging to be contradicted. It's just too subjective.

Funniest Characters on Public TV

Julius Rock - "Everybody Hates Chris"
Dwight Shrute - "The Office"
Horatio Cane - "CSI Miami"

You mean broadcast tv?

Yeah, that list sucks.

I definitely should have kept it to myself. That much is painfully obvious.

I think you are a masochist.

I'm much more into self-loathing than being loathed by others, so this actually kind of sucks. It's weird, because it really doesn't seem like my tastes have changed at all, but the same can't be said for my popularity in these parts. I guess it's a good thing I'm not running for office.

dude, you shouldn't take the internet so seriously.

Yeah, quit being a baby. If you think that people loathe you because of a LIST ON THE INTERNET, you've got some big problems. Bigger than anyone here can help you with.

You've got questionable taste in television characters. I happen to love Better Than Ezra and Counting Crows. We can't be winners all the time, Bobbo.

"Rosalia" was my jam during ninth grade.

Funniest television characters is very subjective.

The only show on Bob's list I watch is the Office and I'll agree with him on Creed.

edit: just saw the Cap'n post. I guess I agree with him.

Jerry Seinfeld shares Bob's bad taste.

Talkshow with Spike Feresten (Fox)
Anything Bob Einstein does on Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO)
Announcer talk over Baseball Tonight's Web Gems segment (ESPN)
Mad Men (A&E)
Commercials with unattractive people just staring into space
Johnny Dark on Late Show with David Letterman (CBS)

Grow some, man. It's your opinion. When people call me on my opinion, I tell them, "that's your opinion, man; this is mine" (paraphrase).

I mean, are you going to feel the same way when 9 people tell you that your top 5 of 2007 (music albums) aren't the same as theirs? No, of course not.

Humour is even more subjective than music.

MHO.
