Thanks for all the positive thoughts.
I really do appreciate it.

To answer questions -- it's in my right temporal lobe.
The surgeons are very experienced at this sort of thing, and I'll be at a specialty hospital, where all they do is neuro stuiff. I'm in great hands and the outlook looks just fine.

I scheduled the surgery for a week from today. So that's
Friday, February 11

So you'll have to put up with me for another week before I leave you all alone.

FYI: the song going through my head the whole consultation with the surgeon was:
"You Done My Brain In" - Bonzo Dog Band

I haven't told the kids yet. Sharon and I are going to do it Wednesday... don't want them to worry for longer than necessary. I think we're just going to tell the the truth, but not the WHOLE truth. "I'm going to be in the hospital for a few days. I'm not sick, but the doctors need to take care of something with me that could MAKE me sick." And then I'll answert their questions the best that I can. This is what I am looking forward o least.
