Bitter-Ass Grapes To Reality Translation:

"we're fucking pissed off because the Pats are light years better than us"

I wasn't trying to be coy. I am in fact pissed off that the Pats are light years better than us. I admit it wholeheartedly. It's fucking annoying to see a team that has already been the best team in the NFL over the past five or so years buy a bunch of great players and become unstoppable. It doesn't help that they are arrogant assholes without any personality. I don't get why Pats fans get their panties in a bunch whenever I talk about how much I hate their team. It doesn't make sense to me. You are now the Yankees of the NFL. Deal with it.

jesus, you're a fucking baby.

Had you said Vrabel or Troy Brown, I would have agreed. But you just named two of the three Patriots, outside of the head coach, for whom I have nothing but scorn. All you needed was to include Rodney "HGH served its purpose" Harrison -- plus, he's like a poor man's Greg Lloyd or Joey Porter, as a "family" man -- to complete the "must die" trifecta.

What have you got against Junior?

And, yeah, Vrabel pretty okay.

The Patriots aren't the Yankees of the NFL. They are the Spurs of the NFL.

Not to un-necessarily bump a thread that highlights my bitter and petty nature, but this is brilliant:

http://deadspin.com/sports/michael-showalter/bill-belichick-is-a-surly-dick-322119.php

Also, I'm revising my gameplan for the Iggles. I don't think blitzing constantly is going to be nearly enough. I think we need to go full on Tecmo Bowl mode on the Pats. On-sides kick it every time. Go for every fourth down that's less than 10 yards. Go for a two point conversion with every score. The whole 9 yards. I don't think the result would be much different, but it's really the only shot you have. Plus, it'd be nice to see an NFL coach actually show some balls.

Except that the Pats are at least entertaining enough to watch.

yeah i dunno. he wasn't funny at all when he was hosting that one show but i saw him another night and he was pretty funny, though he was showing slides of smurfs in porn or something, which might've been what was funny.

Granted, Moss took a pit stop in Oakland, but you have to admit, Minnesota has been very, very good to Boston.

All we do is give, give, give.

Make sure you send a friggin' thank you note.

Hey, Boston, you interested in a pretty good pitcher? Sweeping a World Series isn't bad, but four shutouts in a row would be even better....

So, what's your vote in the Boston.com polling for a Patriots theme-song?

From Boston, & seems appropriate.

& yes, I ripped this off from Deadspin's comment section, but so what... so what!?
