I wish I were by the pool, but I am actually thankful it's cooler here today. Got dat black tie bash tonite. Gonna go to a shrimp boil for a few hours, lay down a base buzz, and then get cranked up for the evening.

Hopefully I'll be in shape to listen to Bon Iver when I get back. If not, Sunday morning sounds like it will work fine.

Jane's Addiction - Nothing's Shocking
Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual
Porno for Pyros - s/t
Porno for Pyros - Good God's Urge

np: Jane's Addiction - "Classic Girl"

Been a long time. I don't love any of this stuff anymore, but it's alright. I don't think that Jane's Addiction was really all that great, and I don't think Porno for Pyros was really all that bad. It's all about the same to me.

weird...I was listening to Banyan which has none other than Stephen Perkins as drummer/wrangler. I own all that in addition to XXX. Surprisingly the only one I pull out more is Good God's Urge. Watt action, and I liked a lot of the grooves set forth.

'She's Just 14' might be the greatest song of all time.

Yeah, it's all whispery sunrises and lush odes to strawberries these days.
