I went, and Wolf Eyes was brutal as expected. I didn't realize their music involved so much guitar, or that they used modified, beaten up horns (a sax and something like a simple french horn) either. I wore earplugs for most of it, but I had to pull them out for a few seconds at a time just to get a feel for the noise level. It sounded way better that way, but I didn't want to deal with having my ears ring oppressively for the next day or two.
On the downside, they played really late, and they didn't play for very long. Rubber-O-Cement was very entertaining but not actually good, and Wilson + Heath, the first opener, was atrocious. Some of the biggest performance art bullshit I've ever paid to watch.
