both run D's were really really tight today. but the bears pass D was like they were in the prevent all game, i dont get it. sucks that vasher was out and tillman was replaced by a practice squad in, but still, the rush never got to ryan and the bears were lucky to hold them to only 22. not to say that ryan didnt have a really good game because he definitely did, but the bears d didnt do themselves any favors for sure

i'm liking orton more and more though

Also, the Bears special teams coach should catch all kinds of hell for calling for the squib quick. That pretty much guaranteed the Falcons would get good field position for one play. If they kick it deep or even out of the end zone you give them only one option, hail mary.

The most amazing thing for me this season has been the Falcons D: it really shows how much good coaching can do because this bunch has been great on paper, shitty on the field since Dan Reeves/Wade Phillips left.

Rookie QB with a rookie OL protecting him? Playing with house money at this point.

First of all, the squib was absolutely the wrong call. But it should be said that Gould can't kick it out of the end zone. I don't think that's on the special teams coach, though. The head coach has the final say on that call.

at first i didnt think the concept of the squib was a bad idea, thinking that the receiver would bat it around or something and waste time. but yeah, ultimately not the wisest decision

yep he came in after halftime and started slinging it around like Joe Montana Jr.

I just remember it looked so fucking cold on TV and you could tell that the Falcons didn't wanna be there. MV7 took some serious hits and the linemen were too fucking cold to back him up. An ass whipping.

I'm just glad you got to see someone besides the 49ers or Seahawks this week.

Between the re-invocation of the tuck rule, the five yards tacked on to a disputatious offsides, & the timeout on the first figgy -- only the last being the fault of the Cards -- the League made AZ win three times to get one win.

I am sure it had nothing to do with the game being against Dallas.
