Oh man did the Dolls stink it up here a couple of years ago.

Really fucking bad.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Dolls last year.

yeah, sure the side bands are usually cool, and there's bound to be at least one big new band that everyone is dying to see...

but until they get a killer headlining bill like the one I went to (radiohead/pixies) fuggedaboutit.

if we're gonna do the reunion tip, pavement or stone roses would be enough for me to travel to coachella. as for electronic, boards of canada... after all, they are supposed to come out with a new album this year, not to mention it's warp's 20th anniversary this year, so hopefully they'll pull something for the US.

I doubt it. I read somewhere that these guys are actually taking an extended break from doing anything RHCP related.

All 3 days :drink: <----that's a delicious, $7 Amstel Light. (god, I hope they've brought in a new beer sponsor).

thats usually me too, but like every year i think its still Heineken and Heineken Light.... shitty, I would kill for Fat Tire out there

The way to get around this is to stay at the Indian Palms, hang by the pool in the am, avoid brownies but partake in whatever you buy at food4less then stumble to the polo fields with the goal of maintainence with $7 nastiness.

Interestingly enough, if McCartney does headline, I would not attend on the day of his show...unless, someone else were playing that I really wanted to see.

If one were to believe the British Press, life would be incredibly sweet in the Polo Fields. If one were to believe the British Press, that is.

A very, very small part of me would enjoy seeing that, but the larger part of me thinks it's a very bad idea. Ziggy needs to stay in the 70s where he belongs.

Apparently Bowie thinks so as well. He has flatly denied this. I could see him preforming the album but there is just no way he would revive the persona.
KROQ is releasing the official line up tomorrow am.

The source for that list is supposedly Ryan Seacrest.

Coachella officials told the LA Times that it is "completely wrong"

Defamer went a bit further:

Defamer Wrote:
Our ex-cousins at Idolator tell us Ryan Seacrest is a closet aerosol-computer-cleaner addict and this list is not trustworthy and may be completely bogus. Further, our pal in the music industry also tells us Katy Perry has a show in Florida that night. So we've all been had, and we blame Seacrest. Who can suck it.

he he
