man, the fucking weather has been atrocious. heavy rain every day for about 3 weeks. have a good time, though.

Seattle is my hometown and although I haven't lived there for years I still visit frequently. I'd recommend Kisaku (http://www.kisaku.com) in the Greenlake neighborhood or Maneki (www.manekirestaurant.com) in the International district (this is closer to downtown).

Cool, thanks. I think we could make it down to Maneki. No car here so we're limited in how we can travel. If we take a cab anywhere, it'll be good to know if there's other stuff around in the immediate area that we'll want to do. But the International District seems like a doable walk from our hotel. We're staying on 5th & Pike.
