that's a pretty great setlist...though I'd like to see some cities and sky starts falling in there too.

Pretty much played the same exact thing in Philly, with the notable absence of "Words." Still put on an awesome show despite the fact that Andy was drumming at about 1000 mph at times. They absolutely killed "10:03"...I like it a lot before hand, but now I fuckin' love that song!

I was thinking about going to that show at the Troc on Friday, but I didn't really have 50 bucks for me and the wife to go. Glad to hear they put on a good show. I'll have to try and catch them the next time around.

same setlist for boston. great show. at the end (boston was the last show of the american tour) the whole road crew came out with percussion and backup snares in hand to to the drum circle part at the end of there goes the fear--it was fun.

my only gripes. . .

1) i think the drummer was coked up or something. . . for the first half of the show he seemed to be playing a little too fast at times--especially on the kick drum. the guitarist was clearly trying to get him to slow down. it was really distracting though it was cracking up with ds bruce robertson (or whatever he called himself the last time he posted).

2) the sound mix was off. i couldn't hear the bass unless he was playing by himself and the kick drum overpowered everything (which made the drummer's timing miscues all the more humorous)

was the mix off at other shows?

edit: just watched a couple live clips on youtube and i'm kinda pissed now that the bass was non-existent. it genuinely seemed as though they were deliberately burying it (like popstars who want to play guitar on stage). not happy with the sound man at the house of blues :-(

my one friend who is ridiculously picky about sound thought it sounded tremendous in chicago. he's been raving about it for a week now. but he was far more interested in the guitar effects than the bass.
