Panties-in-a-knot-crowd should keep it in perspective... at this stage of this kind of contest every album is monumentally good.

I was a little underwhelmed when BOTT first came out, but over the years it has grown... his most lucid, emotionally vulnerable. A case could be made for it being his most accessible, even his best. Not that I am making that case, I am just sayin'.... Idiot Wind, Tangled Up in Blue, Shelter from the Storm, Simple Twist of Fate... these are some of the best "songs" of the century just passed.
