Funny how Cink wasn't even mentioned in this thread until the playoff began. I've always Tom Watson to be a bit aloof, even for a golfer, but I was still pulling for him today. That said, I really like Cink and am happy to see him pick up his first major. Lasting images: Watson walking down 18 during the playoff with his hands behind his back and the ultimate "old man yips" putt on 18 during regulation. That's where he laid it down.

I think it's pretty sad how the commentators blamed Watson's playoff fold on fatigue when that hadn't been apparent all day before the first playoff hole.

And Loogs, how can you be involved in politics and not golf? That's a little oxymoronic.
