Call me crazy, but I interpreted "mopey, old hipsters" to mean Interpol & "frat boys" to mean Kings of Leon. The fans are the "faux mod indie kids" & "office ladies".

Crazy talk. This one's not even close for me. In fact, I'll take this Interpol record as we favorite of the decade. I still love it. The follow-ups have moments but don't hold a candle overall to the debut. Lastly, I like the Kings of Leon less and less as time goes by.
