Have you guys ever noticed that McDonald's coke tastes pretty damn sweet comparatively?

Yeah this is good stuff. My grandfather always had 8oz glass bottles in the fridge, so that's gonna be my answer. But in everyday scenarios, a can is just fine. It's almost more about portion size than delivery material. I only want 12 ounces, not fucking 20. I feel sick after 20.

portions so true dat, I have been on the 8oz cans for a couple of years and satisfies just fine, 12 or 16er's are good for hangovers

From McDonalds. Aside from a milkshake (which I haven't had in about 4 years) this is the one thing I will drink through a straw.

But other than that, the answer here is: From a Dr. Pepper can

BLECH. I hate fountain coke and McDonalds is worse than most IMO.

For me it's either from a can that's been in a cooler for hours or over ice.

Not that I drink regular Coke anyway. I'm a Coke Zero man now.

Which takes away all credibility about everything. Why not admit that you drink Tab or Fresca, and that you order salads with dressing on the side when you're out for dinner?

Haha. It's sad, but I'm the same way, pretty much. If I drink a whole can of regular Coke - unless I water it down with ice and really take my time drinking it - the amount of sugar in it makes me feel awful.

I feel like I don't have the same issue with Dr. Pepper, but I'm sure it has just as much sugar. It's really rare that I drink them anymore, though, and if I do it's as a fountain drink, not from a can.

Nothing wrong with Fresca.

I think Dr. Pepper is one of the worst you can get for sugar added. I did though come across a Pepper with cane sugar recently.

If the only thing keeping someone from hitting the 300 lb mark is their soft drink selection, they have bigger problems.

I NEED THIS.

Am I the only person that actually bought Pepsi Throwback? It was pretty good, definitely better than regular Pepsi. And of course, it's gone now. Calling it "Throwback" was a really stupid marketing move.

Better than PEPSI CORN-FREE I guess.

I bought the Pepsi and Mountain Dew Throwbacks. The only place that sold it was Kroger, and they had a tiny shelf spot for it. I never saw any marketing and originally thought the Throwback, just meant the design of the can since Pepsi and MD change their cans every month.

Marketing FAIL.

Yeah, I saw a couple of ads for it in movie theaters and that was it.

I think it all an underhanded ploy to justify saying "See, we tried selling Pepsi with real sugar, and nobody wanted it! Now shut up and drink your HFCS."

Truly. I won't drink it if I don't have to. I drank a Mountain Dew last week in the office because it came out of the machine after I pressed the button for Diet Coke. Felt so terrible afterwards. It's only after you get away from soda for a while and then come back to it that you realize how much shit is in the leaded version (all of it really but those more so)

Also........FAAAAAAAT.

I'm with you. My 4-5 cokes a day (from a can - the best way) help me stay skinny instead of Kate Moss skinny. I need those extra calories.
