There have been a very few woman, by and large attractive (considerably more attractive than I, then), who have deigned to show an at least marginal interest in me. (Sure, the number of women who have "flirted" or such with me is considerably lower than the number of those who have done same toward one-time acquaintances (and indie-rock or lo-fi techno luminaires) of mine (the New Bomb Nationals, Retrovirus, Black Market Bubble Gum), who seemed to have the knack to get any fine-ass woman they'd meet wanting to ride their nutz, but they are there. All six of them.) Pointedly, though, I turned them down -- precisely because I know I am a gross-looking dOOdz, always have been, so not worthy of even their conversation, let alone their slobber on my knob or their vagina around my fingers (which are, sad to say, larger than my wang).

Actually I'm somewhat of a fan of Monty's writing, but I wish he wouldn't always resort to posting about vaginas wrapped around his fingers and the like. And I apologize for the personal attack, but the dude made fun of role playing games. NOBODY gets away with that (even though I've never owned an RPG, ever).

the first hundred were just him saying "i'm afraid of women" with big words and the spanish of a high-school sophomore, and because they never bore any relation to the topic at hand or offered anything to the discussion i began to ignore them. actually i do this with a lot of people.

And I have the distinct honor of being one of them.

I never learned this skill, in real convos or here. I pay attention to people...sometimes it sucks, I get in stupid conversations all the time, but for some reason I just can't tune peopel out.

A long term relationship does wonders for fine tuning this skill.
