I bought that great speckled bird a few years ago and it kind of got lost in my collection. I didn't think I really liked it much but pulled it out for a spin this morning and really liked it alot more. I was struck by how much Ian Tyson sounds like Gene Clark when he sings lead here. You can listen to a stream of Calgary and see if you agree here. Also listened to the new DBTs in the car for about the third or fourth time. Only three songs in before I parked but I was liking it alot more than on the first and second listens.

Now on to catching up with the Waits listening party:
