Holy shit I'm FAIL. Completely forgot this was on last night in PRIMETIME.

Looks like the Titans got a stud DE in Derrick Morgan, so I'm happy with that. We had a severe lack in that dept after Vandenbosch left.

For the Falcs, I don't know a whole lot about Sean Weatherspoon from Mizzou. I know we needed help at LB, so I assume it's a good use of the pick.

I guess the soundbite I heard out of Josh Macdaniels sucking on the Tebow cock was foreshadowing. I look forward to Jesus 2.0 getting CHH and crying in the Pros.

1. Don't click on a thread if you know what its going to be (i.e.--a sports-related thread). As much as a band named NFL/MLB/NHL 2010 is possible, you can be assured it probably isn't MR.

2. At least we're not mucking up another thread with this discussion.

I would love to beat you within an inch of your life, you fucking faildozer. Have you added ANYTHING to this board, ever?

As for the draft, Ol Donkeykong Fuh is a great addition for The Lions.

Tebow will either be a genius pick, or a total bust, but I give them props for trying. I am in the camp that thinks he'll be better than Bradford when it's all said and done.

Also - what the fuck was up with Chucky's hair? It look glued on, and as Bloor and I exchanged texts about, is the modern day equivalent of a Pete Rose haircut and should cost him any future job in this man's league.

Know is Jerseyian, but he'll be Tebow's boy if I think I know him as well as I think I do

Weatherspoon is a good fit for the Falcons if they want to continue with their trend of looking for speedy (yet a little undersized) LB's.

Yeah, the Lions are my new favorite shitty team as well (Vanden Bosch, Suh, Raiola, Stafford, C. Johnson, J. Best).

UGA peeps...tell me about Reshad Jones.

lots of people saying he was a steal in the 5th round? i hope so, because we really need some help at safety.

lol, I'll watch them with a renewed interest as well - considering they have largely become Seattle East - as there are a ton of former Seahawks on that team.

Aside from that blown tackle against Tech a couple of years ago, I've always liked him. Good hitter, decent in coverage, finds the ball.

Seems like a good pick.

Hey Chromey---thoughts on the 'Hawks draft?

I thought it was pretty stellar, addressing imminent needs at L tackle and safety in the first round, not to mention the huge strong safety out of Va. Tech. in the 5th. I liked Golden Tate at ND and hope he can translate to the NFL--not sold yet. If Leon Washington is healthy, along with Forsett and White, the RB corps is solid enough (adios JJ?). If (a big if) Hasselbeck can remain healthy he should be above average as well.

The D-line is still a major concern.

I see a better year than last, but given that SF had an excellent draft as well and Arizona still looks pretty good, sadly, I think a playoff-less season is in our future. I hope I'm wrong--you never know in the NFC West.

Heard an interview with Pete Carroll today on XM and he had me convinced that you guys are going to be fine...Lendale is apparently down like 30-40 lbs.

I think he's totally a steal in the 5th. He's lightning quick and as long as you have that you can have success until you get adjusted to pro ball.

He would've gone in the 2nd or 3rd had he come out the year before. He was a 5 star all world guy coming out of high school.

That Tech play still haunts though. At least he made up for it at Bobby Dodd last year.

The Rams and representatives for Sam Bradford kicked off their negotiations Friday in St. Louis as they attempt to get the quarterback under contract in time for training camp.

A deal is unlikely to be struck Friday, a league source said, but both the Rams and Bradford's reps are expected to lay the groundwork for what will be the richest contract in NFL history.

The guaranteed money in the deal is expected to be between $45 million and $50 million, the source said.

Wow, whoever is running that franchise now is absolutely retarded. Bradford was hurt most of last year and with a rookie salary cap most likely coming in place for next season, they could have easily low balled him, since there is no reason he'd hold out for less money next season.

I'm starting to get excited.

Dallas vs. Cincinnati preseason game Sunday night.

T.O. is in the house. Maybe he brings wisdom; maybe he brings problems.
Favre said he won't return to the vikings.
Haynesworth is failing physicals like college exams.
Revis is still holding out. Can the Jets survive?
Gresham still not signed by the Bengals and Andre Smith is supposedly hurt. What's up with bastard #1 picks?
