Micheladas at Hotel San Jose (I use Modelo Especial). We should probably work out something on the regular, cause that is my perfect Sunday afternoon timekiller.

Yeah, that's a great refresher.

I dunno, Ben turned me on to the Vodka and Soda with 2 Limes and that has been my go to for about 4 months. "Openly Hydrating."

I like 1554 from New Belgium. It's a dark beer, but it's lighter bodied and great with bbq.

Started off the evening with those last Friday. But yeah, they're tough to beat. Certainly my go to at summer weddings.

Last summer I really enjoyed the Campari and soda. I think this summer I'm just going with a chilled jug of Rossi because I literally don't feel like trying anything else.

I should add my spin on this citrus/vodka/soda cocktail:

2 parts Orange or Mandarin flavored vodka
1 part club soda
1 orange slice

I can get behind this.

My friend is the kid that iced him. Random and off topic, but whatever.

I stick to beer, or Simply Lemonade + vodka.

- twist on gin & tonic/vodka & tonic -- instead of lime juice, I use a splash of grapefruit juice instead
- prosecco, but I'll drink that any time of the year
- Rogue's Dead Guy Ale or Full Sail's Session Lager (regular and black)

tonight I'm drinking out of a bottle of Jelu Torrontés white wine.

Equal parts each in a glass. Completely refreshing and tastes like an alcoholic orange smoothie.

Wow, that sounds good!

I went with the alcoholic smoothie idea, blended two apples, two oranges, two kiwis, some vodka and ice.

I was just rocking th evodka lemonades in Costa Rica, but to answer Prince's question, even if it's not what you're asking:

My old fashioneds are essentially the google recipe minus the sugar. One third your preferred whiskey. One-third or more club soda. Healthy dose of citrus juice, plus about two dashes of bitters. It gives a good whiskey flavor, but is more suited to quick sipping than on the rocks.

Some of my college friends make "summer beer" which is some really disgusting, foul stuff. Talk about "growing apart" from people, I really don't understand those guys anymore. They used to make awesome sangria every summer.

I just drink hefeweizens and white ales mostly, but summer is also the only time I'm really in the mood for pale ales and IPAs so I'll always try to find another one that I like. There aren't many. I gave Terrapin's Hopsecutioner a try based on some friends' recommendation, but I'm not feeling it.
