Everyday is Boss' Day.


My wife typically overdid it with kindness / thoughtfulness, which inevitably depressed me as I thought about how much less I did for Mother's Day. While I was in Ireland for the week prior she dipped the kiddo's feet and hands in some kind of paint, printed them onto clear transfer paper, overlayed them artfully, scanned them into a single hi-res, then had a glossy 5x7 printed of it and framed / matted. It is beautiful. And all this after surprising me with New Pornographers tickets for our 6th anniversary 2 days prior. I am such a hopeless shitbag.
