SATURDAY: breakfast with femdisco's mom and brother (their first time meeting my 'rents). Head to Martin's BBQ Joint in Nolensville to discuss wedding catering and watch the fucking DAWGS rip a hole in some cajuns.

Friday: heading over to central Oregon (Sisters area) for a friend's wedding which is on Sunday. Picking up some whiskey on the way out of town. My mom is coming up to watch the kids all weekend.

Saturday: do a little rafting, some grilling, breath in the mountain air, get so drunk I piss myself and grope a stranger or two.

Sunday: wedding followed by drinking followed by embarrassing myself again

Monday: apologize to everyone, fuck around, take the slow way back home over the mountains, recuperate

Too hungover today to think about anything but leaving early and getting in a nap and maybe having some Fried Chicken. Probably take it easy and go see Machette tonight.

Saturday will be spent building frames to hang stuff around the house and then having dinner and drinks with a woman far too young to be seen with me in public.

Go watch Sumo wrestling Sunday in the afternoon and then head to a party later on with my more regular girl.

Monday will be spent lying around the house, eating Vietnamese delivery and having a Jim Jarmusch film fest from our combined DVD collections.

Post-dinner at sports bar watching UNC get killed by LSU.

Tonight: sleep for the first time this week. I've been working 15 hour days with a heavy commute, so I'm going to pour me a Blanton's and maybe watch more Breaking Bad.

Tomorrow: FYFest. Weaving mostly between the comedy tent and the first half of the day. Since I don't really give a shit about seeing most of the headliners, I'm trying to get back home in time to see a couple of friends' bands play on the roof of a nearby theater.

Sunday: some work, Going to a party

Monday: NOTHING. (maybe slight BBQ)

Today: Kids were home for a "teacher professional day" so we went to the park and then to the grocery store.
Tonight: Enjoyed the patio at a local pizza place. Wife and I had beers. I'm still having them.

Sat Morning: Doing a memorial run in memory of a classmate of my oldest daughter who was killed in a car accident last year. No doubt I'll be hungover and sad.
Sat Afternoon: Football party at a college friends house who recently moved into our neighborhood.
Sat Evening: taking it easy watching football. beers likely to be involved.

Sun afternoon: At a local party taking in ESPN 2's Tulsa @ East Carolina. (I'm a TU alum)
Sun Evening: Likely snoozing early given the celebratory or pissed off postgame drinking.

Monday: detox and maybe take one last day in at the pool.

beyond that... ffb kicks in with lots of Fox and Hound sundays, more college football including season tickets for TU. September shows include The Pixies, The National in KC, Tom Petty and hopefully a couple of weekends sneaking out with my friends to take in local shows.... Both daughters playing soccer will take up lots of time (and shitloads of $) but provide much enjoyment since they both are good players.
Should be an awesome weekend and month.

HotTix came through.
Tomorrow:
Taking family to see the matinee showing of Million Dollar Quartet, then out to dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant.

First weekend I'll have spent in Toronto since moving here in June. And I don't plan to do much.
Watch the US Open as much as possible, and try to fit some hits in despite the shit weather.
Who am I kidding? Every day is a weekend.

My entire being right now is focused on moving, which happens Monday. My new place is awesome - I'm near civilization and commerce and stuff, and will have an office again. Moving is never something one "looks forward to" as far as the actual process, but (thanks to Phil and our friend Kait) I'm about as ready as I think a person can be.
Just gotta get through Monday (movers arrive around 8) and grind it out. Fingers crossed.
