people's issues with gaga tends to be related to other people's opinion of her.

See I saw that and I think she was just saying it to get a rise out of the interviewer.

I think she's pretty funny.

The music is standard Madonna-esque pop, but some of the songs have a sense of, I don't know, longing, that standard american pop songwriters are entirely unable to capture in 2010.

And for the record, Mark Ryden is B-Grade tim-burton-esque cartoon emo trash. Lady Gaga is more highbrow than that shit.
