yeah. i actually haven't been there in a few weeks, so it was a bit of a homecoming. I also had a $14 tab for like 12 beers bvetween the two of us, which is nice. I mentioned the James Bond high life connection and was called a liar (!) and then almost got killed for calling a local football hero (sort of. he plays for the Giants now) for not tipping a former classmate who waited on him. It was a pretty fun night, though. I was jacked up on espresso and neede to downtime.

and Postmersh, I don't hate the poster, just the suggestive thread and my girlfriend for letting me think it was a good idea.

a drunken, swaering, filthy irish aunt. Dude we'll check out John's the next time you're in town. It's like the bizarro (more) ghetto Plumstead. It's pretty hilarious. last tim ei went some guy was trying to convince me that a)Kyle Korver is Penny Marshall's son and b)Peppermint Patty is hot. and would bone Fred Flintstone given the chance. Yeah it's a pretty weird place.

I'm ready for any break I can get.

My friend and I have an expression for when life is having its way with you; it's called getting Skywalkered, after the scene at the end of "Empire" where Darth is Force-throwing all these heavy objects at Luke and Luke can barely stand on his feet.

Yeah, that's what my life is like right now.

On the plus side, the new section looks great (and is bigger because our ad dept sold more than expected) and our publisher pretty much thinks I shit solid gold right now. And an artist I've been trying to woo for the new business appears to be interested. So good things are happening, but they beget more opportunity and more stuff for The Chad to do.

Anyone out there looking for some work as a personal assistant?

HAHA, Kyle, you are officially my hero! :D

To make myself feel better, during my lunch break I went and bought the 60gb photo i-pod (got a pretty decent deal on it). So, now I can FINALLY listen to some tunes in the car without wanting to kick in my piece of crap stereo!

Nothing like a lil shoppin to make a woman feel better... ;)

Not if I have to prove/disprove that theory, I'm not.

Now you've got something to listen to on your road trip to see us next week!!! DO NOT LET YOUR FRIEND FLAKE OUT!

EDIT: I typed this post before finding out on the "Big Annoucement" thread that your friend had, in fact, flaked out. Carry on...
