back on here bc I knew y'all would be talking about droids.
I've had my HTC Eris for over a year now and I am starting to hate it. It is so hard to make a damn call sometimes. Or, mid call it will ring the person a second time? Or no matter how many times I touch the contact it won't call? Argh! I kill tasks, clear caches, etc.
Drives me CRAZY.
Freezes all the time.

I got a new android with twice the processor and twice the ram and it's pretty rockin' sweet. My Cliq had become so slow that I couldn't use it either.

(And appbrain was the best thing going for remote installation of apps before they launched the official market website. It's still pretty cool for syncing up apps if you switch phones or need to do a factory reset.)

DoubleTwist works ok for me, but I don't use my phone for music playback all that much. They released a companion app called AirSync that can transfer files between the phone and computer via Wifi that seems to work well when I need to use it.

Just joined the droid world. I'm still a little apprehensive as I'm pretty iphone conditioned at this point. But at 80 bucks compared to 200, the benefits outweighed the costs. Got the HTC Inspire.

I got the Inspire a few weeks ago. Free trade in for me, but the wife went all nuts for her new iphone. For what we both use it, I'm pretty sure I win.
