Detroit adding Fairley to Suh & Vanden Bosch on the DL... wow! I would not want to play OL, RB or QB against the Lions anytime in the near future.

yeah, Fairley at 13 or whatever is unbelievable, great pick for Detroit.

Fairley has a lot of bust potential in him as well: overweight, lazy, makes poor decisions, etc. When properly motivated dude can dominate a game but there is a reason he has dropped this far since January.

The league should mandate that Detroit ONLY drafts OL or they will be carting Stafford off the field in a pine box soon.

Yeah, it sounds like he dropped for a reason, but the potential to have two dominant forces on the line like Detroit may have is pretty intriguing. Agreed though, they need to protect Stafford if they want to compete in the Division.

Mallett is hemorrhaging money right now.

Also, way to fail Justin Houston. Shoulda taken that senior year.

I'd love to throw cold water on the Saints fans and tell them that Mark Ingram never averaged more than 15 carries a game, wasn't even the best RB on his team and will certainly not be helped by Reggie Bush leaving, but I've got to admit, dude has always seemed like one of those immeasurable "football players" and a good guy to boot.

He's not an every down back. But he can actually run it as opposed to Reggie's pass catching ability. But with a healthy Pierre Thomas, Chris Ivory, 15 carries by Ingram is a lot and more than Reggie ever did if and when he played. Adds a real weapon where Reggie was always a scare tactic. Also, the league doesn't really have every down backs anymore. And Sean Payton wouldn't pound 20-25 carries a game with one back if a young Eddie George was on this team. Not his style.

Disagree with him not being the best rb on his team. I know that was the trendy thing to say but Ingram's healthy sophomore year was far superior than anything the other backs did this year when Ingram started the season injured.

also, and I know all the arguments - he's the only Bammer to win a Heisman.

I think we have the perfect situation to determine if Mallet is good. Pats....

Most impressive performance I saw all year was dude against OR in the championship game. Incredible.

And to clarify, Tanner, I wasn't saying that Reggie and Ingram would do the same thing, I was saying that it would be tougher for Ingram without Reggie being there to split carries with. (Pierre and Ivory have had their moments but they have both killed me in fantasy enough where I wouldn't count on them for much from game to game. I realize that's an analysis not wholly based in reality (ha!) but I'll stick to it for now.

I love Brooks Reed heading to Houston. My Texans still need a ton of secondary help, but at least we made some serious improvements in pass rush with this draft.

Alex Henery was the top Kicker picked, when the Eagles took him in the 4th round.
I'm amazed that the Redskins have drafted three Huskers, including CB Dejon Gomes who wasn't even projected in the draft.

I think the Texans and the Lions both could be pretty damn good next year. Playoffs good.

Ravens picked up thus far:

Jimmy Smith CB
Torrey Smith WR
Anthony Allen RB
Jah Reid OT
Tyrod Taylor QB
Chykie Brown CB
Pernell McPhee DE
Tandon Doss WR

Not bad. I'm in love with the first two picks. Jah Reid seems like he could be interesting. Tyrod Taylor, though? Not sure I'm down with this. As of right now Flacco's backups are Hunter Cantwell and Tyrod. Not good if he goes down.

I think Anthony Allen might be a good replacement as a chain-mover. Seems like a decent fit.
