I've done this twice in Chicago. It's pretty exhilarating and gives you a whole new appreciation for people who go up on stage alone. They always know the "new kids" and are generally pretty supportive no matter how bad you are. There seemed to be the same crowd each week honing their skills and it was cool to see some of the people get better as they got more comfortable on stage and with their material. It's interesting to see how changing 1 word can get an entirely different response from the crowd.

yeah, this was the biggest suprise to me
