So, thanks to Google, I know that today would have been Freddy Mercury's 65th birthday.
Damn.

I'm living in Ansan, which is maybe like 30 or forty minutes from Seoul, what would you be doing there?

Meeting with some folks at Samsung in Sowan City (sp?) for business.

Suwon, that's pretty close by. I have some friends there, so if I want i can find some recomendations for places to eat, bars, things to do or whatever. How long would you be there?

I'd be there only a couple days. Long enough to get in, attend a day-long meeting, and then fly out, in all likelihood. I appreciate the offer of getting some info for me. I still have no confirmation one way or the other, and I will let you know when I do.

Remember "Rules of Attraction"? The girl who commits suicide because James Van der Beek's character won't pay attention to her is now in the band Warpaint. Weird.

Remember it? It was one of my favourites in '02 or '03. (I saw it '03 (Feb?), I think, but it was out Sept/Oct '02, in the U.S.)

Clifton Collins, Jr., & Fred Savage (!) really chewed the scenery. & cannot go wrong with butchy Shannon Sossymon doing faux-blow & getting a nose-bleed. So. Seductive.

I'm not going to S. Korea. A couple of my co-workers are, one of which is a Korean native.

Sounds like something from a new Star Trek movie.

The rugby world cup starts (well started) today.

I read somewhere that rugby is the fastest growing sport in America. They have Australia, Italy and Ireland so maybe they have a small chance of getting through since the Irish aren't in the best of spirits but probably not. Their best chance of a win will be against Russia. Who doesn't like a Rocky 4 style Russian Bear v Uncle Sam showdown?

Don't think I'll be staying up till 2am to watch the Scotland v Romania match though. Hopefully we beat England but we never seem to do well against Argentina. We probably need to defeat one of them to get through but we should beat the rest (touch wood).

I saw this on deadspin. These announcers need to call the Super Bowl and the World Series.

On the other hand, their enthusiasm overshadows an incredible ride in crap conditions. He was so smooth on some of those hairpin turns, especially considering the slop and the grooves made by other riders. Dang.

Hi Fick.

What up, Yail.

I'm pretty excited to watch some football tomorrow and possibly drink a bloody mary. And sleep.

I was going to say that you should have no problem beating us after that dire performance against the Argies, but then i watched the Romania highlights.

This is Gregg Allman and Cher just sauntering through Georgetown the day Carter was inaugurated.

Did anyone even APPROACH this level of awesomeness at the Barry inauguration?

Will anyone besides robots attend Mitt Romney's?
