It's funny. Out of all the albums, past and present, that I've shared with my girlfriend, The King Is Dead seems to be the one that sticks the most.

Can't find a track or vid on Google. Band out of Houston, garage pop. Take the campy wave out of the Drums and this is what you get. And I like that Drums album plenty.

So many people have cited that as their favorite track on that Wilco album (and even their favorite Wilco song EVER), but while I do find it generally pleasant, I also think hearing that same 9-note grouping OVER and OVER and OVER is just too repetitive. I swear I'm going to sit there and count how many times that gets repeated in the song, but I'm guessing HUNDREDS.
