Gotta say, it's pretty inspired for them to refer to Bloor's Redlands recording room as "Second Mile Studio" and calling one episode the "Rhythmic Slapping Edition."

Got around to listening to Ep 6. Derris is better man than I. I don't typically share any craft beers that I had to travel beyond the Nashville city limits to purchase.

also on the same part of the Brew segment: I've never been a Bud Light fan, but when I'm drinking at concerts or for long periods of time, I want some cheap, watered-down swill that I can drink a lot of.

Fuck yeah, dude. We've kicked around bringing in guests - it's really all about scheduling.

The easiest way for you guys to be on is to have Google+, a web cam and some kind of talking/listening setup. In fact, I'd love to test out having multiple guests.

So, what, 10 hours of audio and that's the high point? You Vesco guys might want someone to write you material, unless you only want to appeal to dull lunkheads who've never had an original thought.

Yeah Electric Pillowland was me. I was still in the grips of my Hendrix fetish back then.

another highlight was bloor touting some PPDD album for loogar (i think it was white denim), and then after bloor tries to further convince an extremely skeptical loogar by adding "our friend discostu likes it," loogar says, "even worse!"

they don't just take shots at rads, they take shots at all of us - and deservedly so

Also Kurtz you had a better line about American babies here than on the podcast - "This sounds like an album by Ryan Adams (the band), and not Ryan Adams (the douche)."

The best part is that Rads is such a cool guy, that he reactionarily lashes out here - when in fact I was giving him a compliment, but referred to him in the pejorative sense to do so. Because - THAT SHIT FUNNY.

Look, I don't mind the shot, but what kinda pisses me off is the resulting passive-aggressive re-gifting of the shot in this thread by a couple of cowards who apparently want to take a shot but would rather have your podcast take the blame.

honestly, i didn't mean any harm by posting about it - it just struck me as a funny nickname the way loogar worked it into their discussion

it would have been just as funny if he had come up with a similar one for a different boarder

sorry that it came across that i was referencing it with malicious intent

Someone who gives a fuck what other people think hacked Rad's account.

holy shit, settle down radcliffe! no ones taking shots at anyone here.

first, i only listened to the one year end music deal...that's all i really care to hear these knuckleheads spout off about.

second, if you do not know GAR personally and then do finally hear his voice...EVERYTHING is 10X's funnier.

i also thought the following was funny:

GAR (on Wilco): "I think I'm done with them. Yep, i think i might be tapping out"

Bloor: "Wow. HUGE. HUGE news."

i also laughed at the end when Bloor was going to bring up one more album...paused...and muttered "fuck i already know what you're going to say" and i KNEW he was going to bring up Iron & Wine.

bascially, it reminded me of the good old days of CHAGGY. i really never expected you to get all up in arms aboot* it, but whatever. i'll go back to cowering in the corner now.

*passive-aggressive shot

I hear ya. But it really is a great name....and if Charlie hadn't told me he was chuckling about it days later, I would have referred to you as Uncle Monger.

As a matter of fact, you might have to be put on the guest list. That would be insane.
