I just read in the paper that "End of the Century" the Ramones documentary comes out on DVD today. I'll probably pick that up this weekend. I missed it when it was at a theater near my house. It only played for a short time.

Yeah, it's out, and it was on sale for $12 at the Tower here. I thought about picking it up, but I just grabbed the Incredibles DVD and decided to try and rent that Ramones doc. I hope I have better luck with that than I have with the Metallica one, which for some reason only one video store seems to have, and both of their copies are always gone.

I saw the Ramones doc when it was in theatres. It's pretty good, even if you're not the biggest Ramones fan...

Still, If you're not a big Ramones fan, I don't think it's worth buying, even for $12. Just rent it, and you'll be fine...

I got a $100 Amoeba gift certificate for my birthday :D
I'll probably head over there next Tuesday to pick up at least a few of these, and some others I've been holding off on (probably Run the Road, A Gun Called Tension, and others)

you'll be pleasently surprised timmy. good stuff, 'specially Den Doeda Vinkeln, 400 Slag, and Palace & Main. not much progression or anything, but they'll still got the hooks and the wonderful melodic choruses.

Nothing today - I snagged $5 promos of the upcoming Magnolia Electric Co and Shipping News albums on Sunday (along with The Evens s/t for $5), so my music allowance has been spent.

Finding awesome new record stores rules. :rockbanana:

I was actually thinking of picking up the new Soundtrack of Our Lives today too, but thought I'd better preview/solicit opinions about it. Has anyone heard it? Does anyone like 'em here?

I picked up the Soundtrack of our Lives today and glad I did for $6.99. Although it seemed most of the chatter on the board has been negative to this release, I'm digging it on multiple listens.

Didn't find anything else of my hand dandy list. As noted above, 3/22 is going to be a huge release day

It's really good. Kind of a mix of hip hop, dub, electronic and punk. It sounds vaguely british too.

I can YSI it for you, if you like.
