The Complete 1932-1940 Brunswick, Columbia and Master Recordings of Duke Ellington and His Famous Orchestra

If you are at all a fan of vintage jazz, this is a collection you will absolutely want to get your hands on. 11 CDs covering everything Ellington put out in the 30s. St. Louis Blues, It Don't Mean a Thing, Sophisticated Lady, Mood Indigo and just classic after classic. On Mosaic records and as usual they have done an excellent job cleaning up the sound and presenting these recordings in the best light possible. I know the 50s and 60s era jazz stuff gets more attention, but this is about as good as jazz gets for me.
