When the Bucks play well, they are flat out fun to watch. Love the bench on this team too. Brandon Jennings is bound to play the best of his career only to sign somewhere else. I'm undecided about how I feel about that at this point, I've always kind of hated score first point guards who play selfishly, but I think Jennings really has potential to be be a 25-point a game scorer and that's tough to throw away.

Not bad - almost as good as 4-0 (but not quite)...

Felton, unbeaten Knicks rally past Spurs 104-100
SAN ANTONIO (AP) Raymond Felton scored 25 points and the New York Knicks stayed undefeated by rallying to beat the San Antonio Spurs 104-100 on Thursday night.
J.R. Smith added 17 points, Jason Kidd had 14 and Tyson Chandler 13 for the Knicks (6-0), who closed on a 22-11 run to remain the NBA's lone unbeaten team.
Tony Parker led San Antonio (7-2) with 19 points and 12 assists. Kawhi Leonard added 16 points and Tim Duncan had 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Smith and Kidd hit consecutive 3-pointers to give the Knicks a 100-95 lead with a minute left. The Spurs had won 18 of 19 regular-season games against New York.
The late defensive push offset an uncharacteristic start by the Knicks.
After holding their first five opponents to 87.8 points per game, the Knicks allowed the Spurs to set a quick tone when Danny Green opened with consecutive backdoor layups off assists from Parker and Duncan.
The Knicks kept pace behind Felton, who had nine points and two assists in the opening period while shooting 3 for 5 from the field. Felton's first 3-pointer gave the Knicks a 29-24 lead with 2 minutes left in the first period.
Steve Novak and Rasheed Wallace hit back-to-back 3s to extend New York's lead to 45-38 with 7:21 left in the first half. New York opened 6 for 7 on 3s.
DeJuan Blair smiled at Spurs coach Gregg Popovich and gave him a double fist bump before taking the court for his first start of the season. The move paid off. Blair had two points and an assist while denying Carmelo Anthony the ball defensively and hounding the Knicks All-Star into missing his only attempt in the opening 8 minutes.
Anthony appeared frustrated by the lack of touches, shaking his head and laughing when the Knicks rotated the ball away from him late in the second quarter.
Anthony got aggressive after that possession, taking four shots in the final 3 minutes of the first half. He was blocked twice by Duncan under the basket. The first block resulted in Anthony's own follow-up basket and the second led to a 3-pointer by Green with 0.8 seconds that gave the Spurs a 57-55 lead at halftime.

bear with me fellas, I know and understand I have limited amounts of time to gloat this season, so let me gloat....

NBA POWER RANKINGS
Quote:
#1. New York Knicks (6-0)
For the first time since the mid-1990s, Knicks fans can make a (reasonable) argument that their team is the best in the league. Simply put, New York is playing better basketball than anyone in the league. The Knicks lead the NBA in points scored per possession and rank second in points allowed per possession. New York's hot start was tested in San Antonio on Thursday night, but it rallied from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to pull off the unlikeliest of wins. The most impressive part was that the Knicks did it without a hot-shooting night from Carmelo Anthony, who was averaging 26.8 points n New York's first five wins but was held to nine points on 3-of-12 shooting. In the past, a poor shooting night from Carmelo meant a poor all-around game from Carmelo. But Anthony pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds, held his own defensively and made passes to set up key buckets down the stretch. With Anthony struggling, the Knicks won thanks to the offensive prowess of Raymond Felton, Jason Kidd, J.R. Smith and Rasheed Wallace. Let that sink in for a second. The Knicks are playing so well that it's a foregone conclusion that Amar'e Stoudemire will come off the bench when he's finally healthy. How could you reason messing with this? There's no telling how long New York's hot streak will last, but the team has proved worthy of the top spot.

Knicks are ballin' and the Heat D doesn't exist. The main focus is staying healthy for the playoffs, not sweating losing a few games right now. Once Spo starts focusing on defense, the coasting will begin.

Meaningless. NBA basketball pre-April is the worst thing in pro sports. Maybe early NHL season games are worse.

I saw some stat recently that of the Top 30 longest win streaks in NBA history, 29 of them came before March. The season is too long and the players simply don't give a shit night in and night out.

I'll say this Hawks team is better than I thought it'd be but it's still a 1st round exit in playoffs type of team.

I hear ya.....But sometimes it ain't as easy to just 'turn it on' at will...

Knicks had absolutely no right winning last night.....they won powerball by winning in the fashion they did....

I'm just happy that they are starting to be taken seriously a bit....

I'm hoping for the best, but I'll be happy with a 2 seed and a trip to the Eastern finals this year....

Amare better put team first wen he comes back, and Shumpert better be ready to fit in as well.....Best hope, 55 wins!

Had a good time watching Lillard carve up the Spurs this week in person.

The Curse of Joe Johnson continues unabated.

Is he officially the Kenny Lofton of basketball?

I really hope they opt to stop calling them the Kings once and for all, and rename them something else.
I think it would be cool to have the Supersonics back.

Amen.

And they will definitely be the Supersonics again.

And let me say it again: Fuck off Howard Shultz and Clay Bennett.
