It's kind of funny that you can get the whole sampler for free or pay $0.99 per song. Choose wisely.

My roommate just went and bought another bicycle that I'm guessing cost around $2500. He's already got 2 including one he had custom made and paid close to $4000 for and one that is pretty much just an everyday bike. He never rides the $4k one and the new one hasn't left his room since he got it a couple weeks ago.

I said we should get a grill for the house and he bought a $20 charcoal grill. :nono:

Still applies. He's just trying to fit in. I have NEVER seen so fucking many custom bikes as I did in Portland.

I'm actually considering finding / building up a "distance" bike of some sort very much like that green thing. My friends do things like ride from here to Portland Maine overnight, grabbing a beer at a brewery at midnight along the way, only to watch the sunrise on the beach and catch the first commuter train back home. I'm probably physically capable of making the ride, but all my bikes are heavy commuter mules or ridiculous cargo bikes. That thing appears to have most of the boxes checked... front and rear racks, fenders, generator light (at least on the front, don't see a rear but surely...)

Haven't liked much from him since The Stranger, but this was pretty awesome.
I'm smiling big over here!

Headed off to Toledo, OH tomorrow with the family. My knowledge of this city is pretty much limited to

but according to Google Maps there's a zoo and a children's museum.

Friend of mine shared this on Facebook, and I shared it again.
It's like The Cabin In the Woods of jokes. But, you know, even better.

Brilliant. And oddly touching.

My hometown.

Zoo is solid, and Children's Museum is a lot of fun, but I haven't been to either in ages. Art museum is one of the highest-rated in the country. Mudhens (Tigers AAA affiliate) have a three-night home stand starting tonight. I never go out downtown when I'm back home as most of my peeps live in the 'burbs. Non-chain hangouts tend to be Dale's in Maumee and Loma Linda's near the airport (GREAT margs). If you need a mall fix, Westfield @ Franklin Park uber alles.

Today I saw an old man in a black fedora hat, bright turquoise suit jacket, beige trousers, bright turquoise socks and tan wingtips.

I imagine this is how Loog will look in the autumn of his years.
