After moving/losing my license like 6 times over the past decade I can honestly say I feel for you Dri. Hey at least you made it out in one piece.

note: issuing threats is like the worst thing you can do there. trust me.

"Questioning" isn't really denoucing.

It would have been so much better if they had come out and shouted in a deep voice "WE DENOUCE THE BRAVERY AND ALL THEY STAND FOR".

There should more proper denoucement in the world and less of this questioning crap, that's for damn sure.

I want to hear that 'dis' song.

But, if it's got to be proper denouncement, wouldn't it have to be some artist like Belle and Sebastian doing it? Real foppish cunts, I mean? And I can't really see a 'dis' song from B&S being that hard; ergo, not that disresgarding either...

The Bravery, though they may have a few catchy tunes, are nothing more then second derivatives.

oh, do tell...

and for the record, i don't think the killers should be pointing fingers at other bands ripping off their "sound" since they're just an updated duran duran clone.

They need to start a post-punk dis-war. Show 50 Cent how it's done.

They're both ripping off the 80s, which is OK...I liked the 80s the first time around. Hell, didn't the Killers just get attention because Franz Ferdinand had a 80s sounding hit?

Personally, I like the Bravery better than the Kilelrs....they're even more retro. And, the Killers need to look way tougher if they wanna be called the Killers.

I thought the Brian Setzer vs. Stuart Adamson from Big Country, or Blur vs. Oasis was more interesting. These kids going to break out in a sissy slap soon?

This guy is at it again, this time he's shitting on Fall Out Boy. Not that I have a problem with people shitting on Fall Out Boy. It's just that I think Flower's head is a little unneccesarily bloated. Dude needs to step back and take a look at where his band sits in the big picture. They are not Oasis. Hell, they aren't even The Strokes. This is the comment that got me:

"There's a creature inside me that wants to beat all those (emo) bands to death", before adding that "You don't realise what you could be getting yourself into with Fall Out Boy... Emo, pop-punk, whatever you want to call it, is dangerous."

It would be just as easy for some other disgruntled, insecure, egotistical rockstar to look at The Killers and say "There's a creature inside me that wants to beat all those retro bands to death". You don't realise what you could be getting yourself into with The Killers... New Wave, Dance Punk, whatever you want to call it, is dangerous."

An NME article goes on to say that Flowers scolded his A&R rep for working with Fall Out Boy. This guy needs to relax. He seem to feel threatened... by fucking FALL OUT BOY!

self quote for emphasis

I don't mind either of these groups. Bravery are a bit dull. Killers have a nice stretch of good songs first part of the debut, then get a bit dull. Very fun videos. But pissing on Fall Out Boy? Is this dude even aware of how many thousands of bands there are in the world, how much Killers aren't anywhere near the seed of integrity? Hell, they're not even near the forest.

Man this guy really needs to keep his mouth shut when he is not singing. Everytime he opens his mouth, something more idiotic comes out.

You've got it backwards, he needs to keep his mouth shut when he ought to be singing. Couldn't hit an in tune note if the universe depended on it. I think he's epileptic. On the other hand, he's far more entertaining when he's speaking, it could be that foot in his mouth.

theres not enough weed in jamaica to make me dig the killers or the band thats trying to sound like them

...
well
maybe there is
...
ive never been to jamaica
or
given the killers a second thought after the boyfriend/girlfriend song
and retarded video

IMO there was only enough room in this rerun genre for a couple bands
and every single one thats showed up out of nowhere in
the past two years probably
shouldnt have wasted so much time in
the dressing room
