That's wicked and hilarious. :D

The drummer was originally our drummer.
Did he really say "Michael" and not Joseph?

Yeah, they're all good people.

That's so funny that you met them, (and yet that I still haven't met you). Heh they must have been pretty surprized.

How was the show (in-store)?

Oh shit, he DID say "Joseph"!!! Michael...Joseph...all those damn biblical names! :)

And their in-store was GREAT! They sang for almost 40 minutes --which is pretty much their entire set, I'm thinking. Drinkin' Heinekens onstage and bottles of wine -- that's rawwwwk! Ha!

The Dears...Marlowe...Aural Fixation...I've got my own three degrees of separation going on. ;)

That's wicked.

So you're going to the show tonight?

Gosh, I wish I were in California going to a Dears show, with you. That would be the bomb.

(Instead I'm in cold, rainy, Toronto going to work with cramps and a hang-over) heh heh. (true, but nowhere near as sad as I just made it seem)

I'm sure you'll have an amazing time, T. :rockbanana:

(I know... over-use of smilies...again)

The Dears opening for The Soundtrack of Our Lives -- crazy, eh? The singer says to me, "You'd think we've been doing this for ages. We're still trying to get used to it!" Yup...better get used to it too.

I'd love to have you over, Alex! You're more than welcomed to come and visit anytime you'd like...you AND your honey.
