sorry. i had no idea the pictures would be that big

How is that? I've almost picked that up a couple of times.

i heard this on a listening booth at a cd shop around here a while back. my impression was that it had some really good stuff, but there was some crap on there that kept me from buying it on the spot at $16.99. i've been looking for it used since.

the glowing review in pitchfork today will probably help exposure for this.

I got this recently along with Bradley's Barn, which was the Brummel's trendy country-rock follow up to the trendy psychedelia of Triangle. To my ears, Triangle has dated poorly, whereas BB is quite a lost treasure (but that might be because country-rock is based in the bedrock of tradition while '60s psychedlia was simply pop with a cosmic swirl on top).

Funny you should say that. I bought Triangle sometime in the last two years when I was at the height of my country rock obsession. Someone's Amazon listmania listed it as a lost country rock classic and I liked most everything I was already familiar with on their list. Maybe they were mistaking it with Bradley's Barn because my initial impressions were that it was fair to middling.

I only listened to it a few times and then buried it in my collection. I was pulling it out to give it a listen and see whether my opinion would change with diminished expectations. Its in my changer but I haven't gotten to it yet.
