Good idea dude.

I've never tried Hennessey. I should rectify this tonight.

Hennessey + Hypnotiq= crunk. Try a few of these and you'll be crunk with style.

I stick by my vodka so no experimentation for me this weekend.

If you ever get offered something called Stroh 80, punch the offerer in the face immediately. It is equal parts Butterscotch candy and Nascar-grade racing fuel. The burps I had after that shot were to haunt me for almost 2 days. Why it is that the Austrians persist in manufatcuring this miserable excuse for an appertif escapes me.

Speaking of odd booze, when I was a bartender we had a bottle of 'american spike' or some such that one guy used to come in for once a week. It had a graphic of a railroad spike and was some form of whisk(e)y with vanilla (?) and maybe some other stuff. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Google just give me buffy fanfic (!).

I brought some Absinthe home from my recent trip to Prague, so I need to find a cocktail where I can use that.

I've done it the traditional way with sugar and water so am looking for something new. In Prague, Absinthe and Red Bull seemed popular.

Hey, Nez, did you bring home REAL absinthe? I know it's a bit risky to bring into the country if it contains wormwood and am wondering if you had any troubles.

PS -- Can I have some? :D

- The wife, as well as Busty, are out of town for the weekend.
- I have been fortunate to have been taken out for drinks and pool by former coworkers and all-around nice people.
- I didn't try anything new.
- I had Spotted Cow and a jaeger bomb.
- Busty would be proud.
- I am now now faced with sleeping alone, which is unfamiliar and unwelcomed.
- I may invite the pitbull to share the bed. She kicks, and she snores, but she's a sweetheart, and she knows how to plop her head up on the pillow and sleep that way all night, with just her head above the covers.

Blech. I'm domesticated.

I want to go boozin' tonight, but I'm haven't found any takers tonight. Not that it really matters, since I will have ditched them and struck out on my own by midnight if all goes as usual.

Being anti-social is being a real cramp in my plans today.

You can move there easily. They speak English (as the former British Honduras, one of two mainland Latin American states where such is the case). They have schools (where your kids could enroll -- or, you could let them be autodidacts, in the purest sense (learn at home, choosing subjects as they fancy them). They don't bear prejudice against the gay.

Or maybe they do?

Otherwise, why couldn't it be Belizbien?

(Oh. SNAP. I kill me. Such a long set-up for such a piss-poor attempt at a line.)

Yeah, I brought home real absinthe with wormwood in it. As far as I know, it's legal to bring 2 bottles back with you. It was never illegal in the Czech republic so you can easily get the wormwood stuff.

I declared it on my customs form and everything and got through all levels of security without a second glance. Didn't seem to be a problem.
