Everybody's got their own opinions, but personally, I'd put the logo and time info across the bottom against a plain background stripe, axe the pictures on the sides and blow up the knight rider picture to fill in the rest of the poster and do something fun with the band name and the good covers with no cover stuff, just laid over the image somewhere where it gets attention without covering up the faces.

Looks fine as is though. I've seen plenty of worse band flyers.

I've (grudgingly) axed the pics, and I'll tinker with the background and the text. Thanks, though. It's kinda rare that anyone actually responds!

Was showing my wife the thread last night so she could see some of Bloor's flyers (they're friends), and she saw your avatar, and goes "hey, the Decemberists, cool!" I said Yep, she's cool, and she's moving to town in a month or so, and is looking for an apartment. "She can live with us." Her sister was supposed to have moved up from GA, just for a change, like months ago, but keeps stalling.

I took the pics off, but it hasn't been printed yet... I still teeter towards the Busty-with-Janet-Jackson-Mic motif.

I soooo don't get why Cap'N's wife likes Bloor so much. I remember Bloor making her cry on more than one occasion back in the day. And now probably likes him more than any of our other friends. Well, I guess he was one of the only bra's to make it up for the wedding, so that's huge in hindsight. I mean I think it's cool, but still...

She responds well to honesty, even if it's Bloor's bizarre flavor of honesty. That's as close as I come to understanding it m'self. That, or he emits some sort of colorless, odorless gas that makes her subconsciously happy. I'm trying to work it out.
