Last I saw you could get a bushel of #1 males in the neighborhood of $300, a dozen for $72 and that's with a forecast for the best harvest in years. Six dollars per crab. It's pretty sad.

For $300, it better come with wheels and a full tank of gas. Or, 5-6 dozen for jumbos, probably 6-7 dozen for larges.

as far as crabs, throw 'em in a huge pot and boil them in water. put a brick or something on the lid, becausew if and when those little fuckers get out they are pissed. sadly, i know this from experience and i don't even eat crabs.

i just cut mine last night. i buzzed off the sides with my roommates clippers but the back took me like half an hour while trying to look in a mirror to do it. i didn't dare touch the top.

the back is a pain in the ass. the trick was to not use a mrror at all.

Next time, anyway. I cut my own hair with electric clippers and a mirror, too.
