I can only imagine.

I cooked in a restaurant in Ruston for a couple years with no AC in the kitchen. It was 100+ and we would go outside to cool off. That's why I don't bitch about heat.

That and driving past the chicken farms around Farmerville with the windows down in July because the A/C in my truck was broken. That was delicious.

We've had a bunch of rain here. Went to an outdoor wedding on Sat. and it was a major mess.

There's nothing quite like a wedding reception with ankle deep mud. The dance floor was nice and slippy. This old fuck with his bad hip joint was able to execute the pain-free shimmy thanks to the highly lubricious surface.

Yeah, my entire get up was ruined. Pants, jacket, shoes, etc..

The girl had mud up to her knees by the time we left.

I am sure it will rain here at least once every day this week, from now until October.

the dirty south

I described the tent/mud situation as being akin to a "refugee camp" at one point.

And on Sunday AM when I was packing up my PA, it felt like a haven for malaria and legionaire's disease. Yucky.

My gf said it looked like "Ya'll shit ya'll drawers!".

YEAH, especially when dudes like Boss were grabbing my ass. I doubt my clothes are salvagble, but I'll try for a soak in some bleach to save the pants.

that's brutal. i don't think I could have handle that. they better have paid well.

it's hot, but not as hot as last june. my work puts on a tight lies tour golf event, and last year it was in june. One golfer from Texas said I thought I lived in the hottest place on earth and then I came here.
