It's better than "Electric", but no "Mass"...

More solid statements forthcoming once I spend some more time with it...

but I'll go on record as liking Bejar/Newman a lot more than Case...

i like this better than the last. sound like the songs actually have more than a teaspoon of staying power, unlike electric version.

God I hope so. I thought Electric Version was okay but a huge let down after Mass Romantic. Mass Romantic is in my top ten of this decade.

AC Newman's solo album was much better than Electric Version IMO.

I'm not a big fan of Bejar's contributions.

Bloor, you need to hook a brotha up with this one.

I have..can hook up this weekend. Get some blank discs.

No.

My friend sent this to me, haven't given it much of a listen yet... probably will catch up on acquired music over the long weekend.

I thought they were equal let-downs given the hype.

AC Newman's solo CD was a major bore, IMO.

Does Dan Bejar sing, or just write? Just wondering, since all of the male vocals sound the same to be.

Bejar sings the Bejar-penned tunes (Jackie, it's sequal Jackie Dressed in Cobras, the unrelated Chump Change, Testament To Youth In Verse, etc.)...

He's the one that sounds like an elf, and not the one that sounds all "breathy"...

You're a gentleman and all-around decent human being. Good vibrations headed in your general direction, i.e. you will win tomorrow night at the cock fights.
