I want to express my affection for this album once again. I think that it has been written off too easily, and made it into my top 10 of 2005. Great lyrics, good music, fun . . . sure, kissing cousins to The Futureheads, but awesome nonetheless.

"Apply Some Pressure" is probably one of my two favorite songs to put on repeat this week, the other being Sleater-Kinney's "Entertain". Any additional thoughts?

"apply some pressure" and "going missing" are daily staples for me. i love a certain trigger and missing songs isn't so bad, either.

i can't figure out why i like maximo park so much, but am pretty blah about the futureheads. futureheads reminds me of the cars. (not that that's bad)
