I watched the DVD that Tania sent me last night, and I thought it was great. I was laughing pretty much throughout the episode. I'm about to watch last night's episode after I finish watching Reno 911.

Reno last night was awesome.

Stella was pretty good too, but it's still growing.

I got that DVD too though I havent watched it yet.

I was a big fan of the State. They came to Athens one time and performed live as well as showing some sketches that were banned by MTV. It was a riot.

Not a big fan of this show. Josh thought it hilarious, to me it was blah. Unfunny. At least it was 98% of the time. I found a couple things funny, but that was it. And I normally like these dudes in their other projects( I LOVED, LOVED Michael Showalter in WHAS)

I can see this show going nowhere fast.

the "campaign" episode the other night was great imho. i will say, though, you have to be a fan of really dumb comedy. i laughed my ass off.

I laughed some the second episode, but am starting to think the whole series is going to be based on dumb. Don't think that'll work too well.

This show is genius. Now I have to dig out my old State tapes...

i like it because it's basically a series of genre lampoons (if that's even a word) but, it's much more subtle than typical sketch comedy because it's incorporated into the story of these three 'tards.

i guess in that sense it's the polar opposite of the "let's overexplain everything so even the dullards understand it" m.o. of saturday night live.
