4th of July weekend plans

going to the chicago 'burbs to play house with my special gentleman friend while his folks are out of town.

friday night- sushi, swimming

saturday- swimming, general debauchery, supervising (ie drinking wine and watching) while he makes paella, fireworks on the roof

sunday- cubs game, fireworks?, more debauchery

monday- come home, go to a BBQ, study

Tomorrow: Work only 2-7 which means I get to sleep in for the first time in about 11 days. YAY

Go see Land of the Dead tomorrow night with my wonderful man. Drink a couple drinks. Go to bed.

Tonight I just spent an hour drinking some wine with my boss and a co-worker on my dad's terrace and it was much fun.

Friday - Ray LaMontagne with Mike Doughty

Saturday - work and then a BBQ at the boss' house (oh yay).

Sunday - work and don't know, fireworks somewhere maybe.

Monday - work and don't know.

I'm off fishing in the Greater Abacos, Bahamas, bringing a boat back to port with friends. A 32 cd selection of music long pored over will be played throughout.

Monday - Two different local establishments want me to help them in the 4th of July Parade. Listen, i spent last night building a goddamn covered wagon out of a golf cart---i aint driving the thing. so ill probably sleep in, chill out and then go rampaging around PTC and watch the fireworks over the lake...

Wednesday: Kill goal at FR by $10,000, drink and whoop with a former Ambassador....eat Chicken Livers and disgust most white people in attendance.

Thursday: Blow off work early, after collecting $100,000 in our first work of calling for the new candidate...get to gf's house. Eat pizza, drink wine, make a feeble attempt at early bedtime. She has to work, so I'm up.

Today: Go shopping for the massive drinks. I think for 2-3 days I will need 3 cases of beer, a half gallon of Rum and a half gallon of Jaeger (BENNY, Don't forget Red BULLS!!) Skin out of ATL to NC to whoop with Derris et al.

Saturday: AND NOW, WE MONGER. I am sure that it will entail massive BUI, some kind of crawfish/lowcountry boil, blasting some of the most jail worthy tunes known to man (THANKS RADS!!) and possibly, if I can be convinced, a dip in the lake (LooGAR don't Surf)

Sunday: Make a game time decision about hitting Bloor's whoopstravaganza. After my showing last year I kinda owe it to my peeps to make it.

Monday: Depending upon where I am, MONGER, maybe go back to Bama..maybe say fuck it and roll in at noon on Tuesday.

I kicked so much ass last week, I don't really care.

Cindy and I will be there decked out in our matching William Holden memorial drinking helmets as we make a futile attempt to keep pace with Yail and his illustrious safari guide "The Senator".

Sadly I have no rockets or explosives of any kind for that matter. I expect we will resort to playing strip croquet and pin the tail on the honky.

Leaving work at 1:30 in an attempt to beat the avalanche of traffic that will be Atlanta rush hour on the weekend of the 4th.

Heading to Lake Hiwassee in North Carolina for a 3 day blizzard of debauchery and general mayhem.

Most common position of the weekend should be me on a float with can of beer resting on my chest.
