Yeah, that's what I'm saying... I didn't cover up any of the fieldstone. I spent the better part of 8 months uncovering it, by sawzalling down about 55 feet of 2x4's and drywall, then spent $185 on 4 gallons of clear sealant, which the wife sprayed upon it, so that moisture no longer wicks through it. The sealant helps it look more even, too, less splotchy. But it's funny when older people come to see the house... "uh HUH." That's right, old person, I did that on purpose. There are no hearts, ducks, wallpaper, lace, or brass in the house either.
